The U.S. House of Representatives consists of 435 voting members, 5 Delegates, and 1 Resident Commissioner. Democrats held the majority in the chamber with 222 seats, while Republicans held 212 seats.

 

The U.S. Senate consists of 100 members. Democrats held the majority in the chamber with 51 seats, while Republicans held 49 seats.
